Introducing Parker Dewey+ for Education Partners

Parker Dewey is excited to announce the launch of Parker Dewey+, a new partnership option for education partners including colleges and universities, bootcamps, and other postsecondary workforce programs. Since Parker Dewey’s founding in 2015, we have partnered with hundreds of education providers who want to offer short-term, paid, professional assignments (Micro-Internships) to support their students, employers, and other stakeholders. Parker Dewey+ was designed for these partners to enhance their outcomes by giving real-time data to measure and expand engagement with these stakeholders all while creating more paid, professional opportunities for students.

Our tech team built Parker Dewey+ based on feedback from our partners. Through hundreds of conversations, our partners shared that they want immediate access to data about student/employer engagement, resources to market Micro-Internships and access to view students’ accounts. We have also heard that colleges and universities need to provide opportunities that can support all students, particularly as experiential learning continues to be recognized as a key component to driving postsecondary and workforce outcomes. Additionally, employers have shared that they want new and innovative ways to engage students, particularly with event attendance dwindling or its efficacy being questioned. And, above all, everyone wants students to get hired for longer-term roles.

Over the years, Parker Dewey has grown significantly with an increasing number of projects, employers, students, and schools. With this increase, there is tons of data to understand and address student and employers’ wants and needs, and Parker Dewey+ allows schools access to this data on-demand.

With these updates, Parker Dewey+ serves the needs of all Career Services team members including those who serve students AND employers as well as those who provide administrative support in areas like marketing and data analytics. There’s truly something for everyone!
