Introducing Parker Dewey+ for Employers

Parker Dewey was founded in 2015 with the belief that short-term projects are an invaluable way for employers to access, engage, assess, and hire early-career professionals.

While thousands of organizations have used Micro-Internships to make great hires, Parker Dewey worked closely with employers requesting to more formally integrate Micro-Internships into their campus recruiting efforts.

Based upon the results of these programs, Parker Dewey created an on-demand tool allowing all employers to harness these benefits.

As a result, Parker Dewey+ seamlessly aligns to existing early-career programs helping achieve specific goals around reach, targeted engagement, conversion, diversity, retention, cost-per-hire and much more. (See more in our Parker Dewey+ overview webinar)

    Parker Dewey+ Features

    • On-Demand Reporting on Student Engagement: Target specific student populations based upon hiring goals (e.g. geography, expected graduation, skills, clubs, etc.) and access reports on candidates applying to Micro-Internships including detailed feedback on those selected for Micro-Internships.
    • View Student Profiles: View students’ and recent graduates’ past applications and profiles to keep warm for future opportunities.
    • Download Report on Hiring Manager Feedback: See how hiring managers rate candidate’s performance based on direct feedback students have received from the Micro-Internship supervisors they’ve worked with.

With this data available at your fingertips, you’ll be able to:

    • Target and engage candidates based upon specific recruiting goals
    • Keep candidates warm following the career fairs, info sessions, and other campus recruiting events
    • Gain insights on skills earlier in the process (and beyond what can be found from resumes or interviews)
    • Drive conversion while positioning yourself for any last minute requests, reneges, or other changes

    Parker Dewey+ Impacts

Through our work with employers across industries, we’ve seen the biggest impacts for early-career recruiting initiatives around:

    • Brand Building: Introduce your company and its roles to students who may have preconceived notions or lack awareness
    • Access: Reach candidates from >3,000 post-secondary programs
    • Early access: Engage candidates earlier to mutually assess fit and build relationships, providing a competitive advantage throughout the process
    • Engage: Build authentic relationships with prospective candidates
    • Selection: Evaluate skills earlier in the process, including Core Skills that are difficult to assess from traditional methods (eg problem solving, grit, communication, etc.), minimizing post-hire “surprises” and allowing you to focus on top candidates
    • Assess: Collect insights on skills based upon real work directly from hiring managers
    • Geography: Build relationships with students interested in your locations irrespective of where they attend school
    • Convert and Start: Lower cost, improve conversion, and enhance the experiences for candidates and employees
    • DEI: Engage and build relationships with students from underrepresented populations to ensure accessibility and create equitable pathways

    Micro-Internship Programs and Parker Dewey+

To begin harnessing the power of Parker Dewey+ we designed three programs that can be launched in a matter of days at a cost that is less than a single recruiting event.
